Knitting Today! And knitting tomorrow, and the day after, and the day after, and the day after...

So, over the weekend my sister and I visited Knitting Today for their 30% off sale. EVERYTHING in the store was 30% off!
My sister was having a really rough weekend and wanted me to come up and visit her, and then surprised me by loading me up with super cheap knitting swag.
I have two projects started with the yarn I got at Knitting Today. The first is a plain ol' fisherman's hat. The second is a school spirit scarf. On top of that, My sister and I hung out for the first time since the beginning of August.
She and I have gotten close since we moved away from home, and it's always great to have and excuse to sit around and chill out. If I get free stuff out of it, well, that's pretty freakin' cool as well.

On a side note, I've been going on a lot of dates lately, and it's getting difficult to find the time to sit and work on projects. I do, however, have a three hour physics class on Monday nights. Hello, "sit n' knit" time! I've only worked on my fisherman's hat in classes so far, but I'm about to pick it up and work while I unwind and prepare to write a paper.

I feel like balancing work, a social life, classes, family, AND hobbies(like knitting) is going to take a toll on me this semester. Good thing it's worth it, right?

P.S. I will learn how to ACTUALLY write out the patterns for what I'm doing, and update them as I go along... but here's where I'm at so far:
